Tartare de tomates




If the belief that “raw food is tasteless” is deeply rooted in you, you should try this recipe. Everyone loves tomatoes, and I guess all the ingredients we have here. I think it is innovative as well as delicious. Easy and yummy!!! Try it and let me know ;)

Ingredients (for 6-7 disks)


1200 g tomatoes
100 g sundried tomatoes
½ avocado
½ mango
15 g seedless olive oil
4 g salt
3 tbsp. caper fruit granola
1 slice yellow bell pepper (decoration)



Procedure


  • Soak the sundried tomatoes for at least 30 minutes in warm water;


  • For the sauce, cut the half mango in pieces;


  • Put it in a food processor where you add 3 g olive oil and 1 g of salt and mix it;


  • Clean the tomatoes from seeds and stalks;

  • Remove the seeds from the sundried tomatoes and cut them in small pieces;

  • Mix the tomatoes, sundried tomatoes and avocado. Not smooth but leaving small pieces;


  •  Add 10 g of olive oil, 3 g of salt and 3 tbsp. of caper fruit granola. Mix a little bit;

  • Take a cotton cloth and squeeze the dough;


  • Take a slice of pepper for decoration and cut it lengthwise and very thin;


  • Now you’re ready for plating ;) Take a mould, insert the tomato dough, press and remove the mould;


  • Decorate with the mango sauce and the yellow bell pepper;
 

Time to eat !!! Enjoy the meal with your family and friends
You can also use another mould and be creative with the decoration (e.g. cucumber leaves and sauce on top)
